We would like to notify you of spam e-mail containing false and fraudulent misuse of "Mitsubishi" and the mitsubishi.com domain name.

An example of such we have recently become aware of is an e-mail sent under the name of "MITSUBISHI COMPANY UK.," from a mitsubishi.com domain address, info@mitsubishi.com. The message informs that the recipient's e-mail address has been selected and confirmed for a so called "New Year Promotion," and requests detailed personal information from the recipient in order to receive the prize.

"info@mitsubishi.com" is not an authorized mitsubishi.com e-mail address, and there is no record of such message being sent from the mitsubishi.com e-mail server.

Such e-mails are in no way associated with any of the Mitsubishi companies referred in our mitsubishi.com website, and has been acting without the knowledge or consent of the Mitsubishi companies.

Also, please rest assured that without your permission, mitsubishi.com will not send you any sales promotion e-mails.
