The Development of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group in China
Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group started its business in China at the beginning of the 1980s. Ever since then, it has conducted extensive economic and technological cooperation with relevant Chinese enterprises. As of today, it has established over 60 branches across China, among which more than 30 enterprises are engaged in chemical production, with more than 3,000 local employees. As a wholly owned administrative subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation(MCHC), Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (MCHB) is responsible for managing, supervising and guiding the risk management, compliance management, internal supervision and other systems of MCHC and of MCHC’s subsidiaries in China, as well as for coordinating economic and technological exchange and cooperation with China.

Assignment Description
My department is in MCHB's Business Coordination Division, where I am responsible for publicity and part of chemical management. In China, our main publicity platforms are MCHB's official website and official WeChat official account. While attaching importance to corporate publicity, we have also supported the charity project Mitsubishi Friendship Cup football competition for the Disabled together with other Mitsubishi enterprises in China, as well as the charity project Approaching Japanese Enterprises and Experiencing Japan ,which enables Chinese college students to visit Japan.

In recent years, laws and regulations related to new chemical substances and hazardous chemicals have been revised and updated. Our department is also responsible for tracking these laws and regulations and for maintaining communication and consultations with the Chinese government and industry associations on behalf of the enterprise. Although there are only four of us, we all get along well with each other, share information, and assist each other in our work.

Personal Hobbies
I am a freedom-loving Sagittarius, and I enjoy getting together with friends for parties or trips. Although we are not able to go abroad due to the pandemic, there are many beautiful scenic spots in China for us to enjoy. If you get a chance to come to Beijing in the future, please do let me do the honors.
About Beijing During the Olympic Winter Games
As a famous historical city, Beijing will be familiar to everyone. But are you familiar with Beijing as a double Olympic city? During the Olympic Winter Games, 180,000 people in Beijing participated in ensuring the operation of the city, with 17 competition areas in Beijing and 8 competition areas in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, set up as a closed-loop environment in which the relevant personnel of the Olympic Games worked and competed, and which met the needs of epidemic prevention, competition and normal life of the city to the greatest extent. Therefore, the city of Beijing during the Olympic Winter Games, apart from the Together for a Shared Future broadcast in the streets and the citizens queuing to buy Bing Dwen Dwen (the official mascot of the 2022 Winter Olympics), is not much different from ordinary life.
