Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) has opened the Hanoi Representative Office as its first office in the Southeast Asia region and Middle East Regional Office in Dubai. In Vietnam, MRI will assist the Vietnamese government in overcoming various challenges facing the country and surrounding region by collaborating with Japanese and Vietnamese enterprises. MRI will draw on its expertise and achievements in Japan, particularly in areas such as health care, environment, energy, transportation infrastructure development, and information technology (ICT/DX). In the Middle East, the move toward decarbonization is seeing an acceleration in the adoption of environment-friendly infrastructure and the introduction of decarbonization technology. MRI will assist in the transition to a green economy in the public and private sectors in the region starting from designing measures through to their successful implementation. Pinpointing these as priority areas, Mitsubishi Research Institute will contribute to solving societal issues and to making Japanese companies more competitive in both regions.
