New Nikon Z 9 Full-frame Mirrorless Camera Goes on Sale
The First Flagship Model of the Z Series

Nikon has brought to market the Nikon Z 9 full-frame/Nikon FX-format mirrorless camera which adopts the Nikon Z mount. The Z 9 is the first flagship model of the Z series mirrorless cameras, bringing together Nikon's leading-edge technologies to deliver the best still and video features and performance in Nikon history. Thanks to the newly developed stacked CMOS sensor and the EXPEED 7 image-processing engine, the Z 9 delivers the most powerful AF performance among Nikon cameras. This advanced AF system detects the world's largest*1 range of nine subject types for both stills and video: people, dogs, cats, birds, bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trains, and airplanes. The system thus allows decisive moments to be reliably captured for diverse subjects.

8K UHD/30p video*2 provides the world’s longest*1 recording time for the in-camera memory card of up to 125 minutes*3 without the need for an external recorder. It also supports 4K UHD/120p/60p/30p video recording. With new firmware update released in April, Nikon's proprietary N-RAW supports up to 8.3k/60p video recording without the need for an external recorder.
