Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus has delivered 10 light-duty Canter trucks to support medical emergency care in Tajikistan, through an aid project overseen by the Japanese government’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) program. The 10 FG 4×4 double cab Canter trucks are equipped with specially configured van bodies that house storage areas for medical equipment and come with ramps that allow easier access for patients on stretchers added to the back of the van. With their powerful 4×4 drive and sturdy build, the Canters can operate in a wide range of environments, from cities to more rural areas. The company hopes that this delivery of trucks will strengthen emergency medical services throughout Tajikistan and contribute to the further development of regional medical care.
