Mitsubishi Auto Leasing Corporation (MAL) and Tokai Rika Co., Ltd. have concluded a FREEKEY Company Car Reservation service distributor agreement and, together with dotD Inc., have started a collaborative project aimed at developing a digital key-based fleet management system. The three-company demonstration project has, so far, shown a significant improvement in user productivity through improved convenience, as all routine fleet maintenance and other tasks can be completed using the smart phone app, and faster work completion, resulting from the greater freedom the system provides. The three companies aim to develop a new fleet management service which promotes a car-sharing and carbon neutral society.
