(1) Design Concept The building design of the spiraling single wall signifies the infinite imaginations which we wish to present at our pavilion.

(2) Building Walls The outer walls are made of stumps, PET bottles, rocks, bamboo, and plants; all environmentally friendly materials.

(3) Building Foundation We will use direct foundation without any piling works.

(4) Structures The building structures are made of steel structures as well as steel pipes and plates used for scaffoldings. Those scaffoldings materials will be re-used at other buildings constructions.

(5) Grass Roof The roof and the outer walls are covered with grass, reducing air-conditioning energy consumption.

The relations between the Earth and the Moon; between the Earth and the universe. You will re-discover yourself by thinking about someone else. We will find the wonder of our lives on Earth and a glimpse of the miracle, realizing the necessity of sustaining the Earth's environment. With the question "What if the Moon didn't exist?" and with the presentations throughout the queueing zone and pre-show, people will realize that the Moon has a very strong influence on the Earth's environment. They will also see the scene of the creation of the Moon, which was a mere coincidence in the universe. The people will experience a world without the Moon. They will realize the miracle of the current environment on Earth. Just as people are recognizing the glimpse of the miracle, the combinations of visual effects and audio effects will put the audience into the unique visual environment created by IFXTheatre.

Mitsubishi Pavilion @Earth will undertake concrete steps to reduce the greenhouse effect gas emissions by our pavilion. The amount of greenhouse effect gas emissions from our pavilion can be calculated by the environmental assessment report of the Expo committee. The total amount of greenhouse effect gas emissions during the construction and operation period of the Expo is pro-rated to Mitsubishi Pavilion @Earth. In addition to the above, we have also taken into account the amount of greenhouse effect gas emitted while the various materials used in our pavilion are in production. We have purchased from NATSOURCE JAPAN the sufficient credit to cover all the above.
