The Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee has been inviting children living in social welfare facilities to soccer games that take place at the J-League Urawa Red Diamonds home ground since 1994.
Having agreed with the purpose of gInternational Literacy Yearh of the United Nations, we started the Mitsubishi Asian Childrenfs Enikki Festa in 1990. This social welfare program aims to stimulate cultural exchange between children by allowing them to learn about each other through illustrated diaries. After the conclusion of the 9th festival, we had received 487,274 works from 25 nations and regions.2010 sees the start of the 10th festival.

In 2009, the Mitsubishi Center Digital Gallery opened inside the newly reconstructed Mitsubishi Ichigokan. At four booths inside the gallery, visitors are able to view some 120 high-resolution digital images of heirlooms related to the Mitsubishi Group, such as books and works of art from the Seikado Bunko Art Museum and the Toyo Bunko, including a number of national treasures. Visitors can enjoy perusing the gallery’s diverse selection of valuable artifacts, collected over four generations by successive Mitsubishi presidents.
Monthly Mitsubishi was first published in November 1965 as a public relations and information magazine. It highlights the management philosophy of senior members of Mitsubishi Group companies and also introduces new products and topical subjects from each company. It is distributed to employees of each member company and concerned parties, with the aim of enhancing communication. Published monthly in Japanse/Number of copies:370,000
Mitsubishi Monitor was first published in 1987 for staff that work in companies incorporated abroad and overseas offices of the Mitsubishi Group. It contains articles in digest format that highlight topics and major news stories from each company of the Mitsubishi Group. It also introduces the culture and nature of Japan. To facilitate recognition of Mitsubishi Group companies domestically and abroad, we publish Mitsubishi Profile (written both in Japanese and English) regularly to widely publicise the diversity of the Group’s business, contribution to society and support of cultural activities.
The website of the Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee has been set up within the portal site of the Mitsubishi Group (www.mitsubishi.com) to communicate the activities of the committee and its member companies to people all around the world. Available in Japanese, English and Chinese.
Here we select a timely theme from a broad range of categories, such as politics, economy, art and science, and organize a forum by inviting a panel of experts. These forums are open to the public in addition to parties related to the Mitsubishi Group.
We directly assist journalists and other media personnel both domestically and abroad directly on their coverage of the Mitsubishi Group.
We also assist them in forming connections with the Mitsubishi Group and its companies.
We also respond to any inquiries on the activities of the Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee from each geographical location.
