| Since its foundation in September 1964, the Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee
has, through its PR activities, worked to deepen society's understanding of the Mitsubishi Group's activities,
as well as promote exchanges between the Mitsubishi Group companies. Through initiatives such as international
exchange programs and educational campaigns, the Committee is also contributing to the development of
society. |

| Since 1990, the
Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee, in partnership with the National Federation
of UNESCO Associations in Japan and the Asian-Pacific Federation of UNESCO Clubs
and Associations, has sponsored an event centered on the creation and exhibition
of illustrated diaries by Asian children. From 2006, the name of this event is
"Mitsubishi Asian Children's Enikki Festa." The event was established to support
the aims of the United Nations International Literacy Year by bringing together
illustrated diaries created by Asian children aged between six and twelve. The
purpose is to support literacy activities while providing opportunities to strengthen
mutual understanding based on real insights into life in Asian countries and regions. |

Publishing the Monthly Mitsubishi,
a magazine delivered to all employees of the members companies of the Public Affairs
Committee. Publication of the Monthly Mitsubishi began in 1965, and the magazine
now has a circulation of about 360,000.
Publishing the Mitsubishi Monitor, an 8-page bimonthly magazine in English for
employees at Mitsubishi companies around the world. The Public Affairs Committee
has published the Mitsubishi Monitor, which now has a circulation of 12,000, since
1987. |
