Mitsubishi Fuso was founded in January 2003, spinning off from ­Mitsubishi Motors. Daimler AG has its direct share of 89.29%, and 10.71% is held by other Mitsubishi Group companies. The name originated as the name for the first bus produced by Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Kobe works in 1932. Since then the “Fuso” brand trucks and busses are well-known not only domestically, but also worldwide along with our 80 years old history.
