Our friends at Mitsubishi Motors' distributor in Brazil have enjoyed some impressive sporting success of late on the waves and on the road. A sailboat sponsored by Mitsubishi Motors Brazil won the most important sailing competition in Latin America for the second year in a row. And the company's racing team won the biggest cross-country rally in Latin America.
With Mitsubishi Motors Brazil president Eduardo de Souza Ramos at the helm, the Mitsubishi Pajero TR4--Daslu Homem sailed to victory in Ilhabela Sailing Week competition in July. The worthy vessel captured the prestigious championship in competition with more than 170 sailboats from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.
Success in sailing and in motorsports reinforces the powerful brand identity that Mitsubishi Motors Brazil has built for Mitsubishi Motors products in its market. The Pajero (sold in several nations as the Montero) is a highlight of the automaker's model line in Brazil. Thanks to the skillful sailing at Mitsubishi Motors Brazil, that highlight shines brighter than ever.
