Seoul has been the capital city of Korea for more than 600 years, since 1394, the third year of the Joseon dynasty.

Seoul has a population of about 10 million people and an area equivalent to Singapore. However, during the Joseon period, it was called Hanyang, with an area of about one-tenth the current area, bounded by the four gates of the city wall. Remnants of three of the gates are still maintained with Gyeongbok Palace, the main royal palace of Joseon at the center.
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Korea Branch is the base of Mitsubishi Electric in Korea and is located at the center of the city, inside the four gates. Opened in 1987, and marking its twentieth anniversary this year, Mitsubishi Electric Korea Branch has two resident representatives and six Korean staff to collect information about political, economic and industrial trends. Its diverse activities also support the headquarters in Japan, factories and other Korean offices. These include materials procurement and support for new projects.
The Han flows through Seoul from east to west, dividing the city into the north, the center of the old capital city, and the south, the new town, crowded with high-rise buildings. Why don’t you come and be absorbed by the attractions of Seoul, where things past and modern coexist?
