● At MRC Hong Kong Co., Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary of Mitsubishi Rayon Corporation (MRC), we are a staff of eight Japanese and six local employees. The team’s spirit is great, and the company is becoming increasingly important to the MRC Group as a sales hub for chemical products, such as plastic and acrylic fiber, headed for south China.
  ● But, all is not work! Hong Kong is great for recreation—we even have our own Disneyland now! This long-awaited attraction, which finally opened in September 2005, is located on Lantau Island and easily accessible by subway from the urban areas and Hong Kong International Airport.
  ● The island’s rich natural environment gives the area a totally different atmosphere from that of the urban area. For one thing, there are no high-rise buildings in sight since the area is surrounded by hills.
  ● Just before the main entrance, there is a fountain with Mickey Mouse surfing—don’t forget to take a photo here! There are also two newly opened hotels near the park. Both face the sea and offer spectacular panoramic views.
  ● Although Hong Kong Disneyland is smaller than the ones in Tokyo and the U.S., most visitors want to come back. With many more attractions to come, this already wonderful amusement park will only get better and better. So, next time you’re in Hong Kong, be sure to pay Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse a visit!
