“STYLE HOUSE MEGURO MIDORIGAOKA” in Tokyo is a flex-design condominium building developed by Mitsubishi Estate working in collaboration with Muji (Ryohin Keikaku or "No Brand Quality Goods" in Europe.) Individual unit designs employ a range of 29 “Muji Plans” layouts tailored to accommodate a broad spectrum of lifestyles. Each plan lucidly embodies and visually expresses the versatility and flexibility properties of the layouts in a manner that readily communicates the design intent to the residents. This newly constructed multi-dwelling unit offers unique living spaces distinguished by a made-to-order ambiance.

This is the message Mitsubishi Rayon Cleansui is beaming out to a “Water Alive Drink the tap water!” slogan. To spread the message the company is using its own web site, radio programs as well as restaurants and drinking establishments that endorse Cleansui water purifiers. The company also stages green events to promote its “Cleansui Water” water purifiers and hosts talk shows on the theme of water and the environment.

Driven in part by government subsidies domestic solar power generation is steadily becoming more widespread in Japan. The majority of new solar panel systems are being installed after houses have been built. There is concern about water leaks particularly when such systems are installed on the roof of houses that have been standing for a number of years. JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation’s Roof Integrated PV (photovoltaic) System has been designed to fulfill the twin roles of providing a high-integrity roof structure and an efficient solar power generating system.

The new Canter is a next-generation light-duty truck developed to realize high levels of environmental performance, economy and safety plus alpha. With its advanced powertrain (engine, transmission, emissions reduction system) the new Canter clears Japan’s JP09 diesel emission regulations, among the most stringent in the world, while also realizing significant improvements in fuel consumption (all models in the series meet Japan’s FES2015 fuel efficiency standards for heavy-duty vehicles) and in road performance.
