Anoman and the garuda
I saw a carnival during the anniversary of my town, Bantul. Puppeteers gave a performance of a war. Anoman was fighting with a garuda bird. Anoman used different kinds of weapons while jumping and dancing. He kept attacking the garuda. Since the garuda was sacred it did not die, even though Anoman attacked it repeatedly.

Every day after school, I go to the garden to help my grandmother water the vegetables. Working in the garden is a chance to learn how to grow vegetables. We use vegetables for cooking and selling. They are a way to earn family income and to save some money. Growing vegetables is important work that supports livelihoods for lots of Laos.
