Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries established Hitachi Mitsubishi Hydro by consolidating the technology and management resources of the hydroelectric power generation systems of the three companies. The new company will explore and develop the potential of hydroelectric power generation, aiming to be a global leader in the provision of a stable supply of electric power.
