National treasures at Mitsubishi historical sites, Seikado and Toyo Bunko: Launching Mitsubishi's Greatest Treasures Exhibition in celebration of 150 years

Update: This exhibition has been postponed to next year and rescheduled to be held from June 30 to September 12, 2021.

Yataro, Yanosuke, Hisaya, and Koyata Iwasaki were all well versed in culture and academics and had great interest in their development and preservation. Mitsubishi will hold a special exhibition at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum in Marunouchi, Tokyo, featuring over 100 precious works comprised of exhibits from the Mitsubishi Economic Research Institute, and art collectibles and classical works that include 12 national treasures and 31 Important Cultural Properties from the collection housed in Seikado and Toyo Bunko. The exhibition traces the history of social contributions made through research and development in arts and culture from the first president and founder, Yataro Iwasaki, to the fourth president, Koyata Iwasaki. It is a valuable opportunity to see the collected works of Seikado and Toyo Bunko gathered under one roof.
