Mitsubishi group companies to Exhibit at GREEN×EXPO 2027!
The Japan Association for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama (GREEN×EXPO Association) hosted a press and PR presentation on October 10, 2025, to mark 500 days prior to the event’s opening and to introduce participating companies. At the same time, the Mitsubishi General Committee for GREEN×EXPO 2027, composed of 24 Mitsubishi group companies, announced the name of its pavilion, the building’s design and the exhibit theme.
Pavilion name: “Mitsubishi Minnano Miraikan”
Based on the name “Mitsubishi Miraikan,” which has been in continuous use since the Japan World Exposition, Osaka 1970, the pavilion will be named “Mitsubishi Minnano Miraikan,” to express the concept of “Everyone together, creating happiness for tomorrow.”
Building design
To express the concept of everyone together creating happiness for tomorrow, the building design consists of small pieces constituting a large group. The structure will be designed by a project team from Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc. To lessen the building’s environment footprint, it will utilize the GX House provided by the GREEN×EXPO Association (supplied by Daiwa Lease Co., Ltd. ).
Exhibit theme
We hope that the “Mitsubishi Minnano Miraikan” exhibit will motivate visitors to think of what they can all do to ensure coexistence of nature with the city of the future and the importance of taking steps to achieve this. Please visit our pavilion at the GREEN×EXPO 2027.
