During the fruit season, my family and I visited my grandfather’s durian orchard. Upon our arrival, I saw a large amount of durians that had fallen onto the ground. When I saw them, I would always pick up the fallen durians one by one and store them inside a takiding (a traditional woven basket with shoulder straps). I used thick gloves to protect my hands from the durian’s thorns. The next day in school, I told my friends all about my experience picking durians.
