The European Division where I work is one of the five business units of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC, and our primary focus is to develop and deliver innovative finance solutions to support the sales of shareholder group companies and MUFG key accounts, but we also work with a number of independent manufacturers too. And unlike the other UK business units, we operate under the Mitsubishi HC Capital brand—Mitsubishi HC Capital UK in the UK and Mitsubishi HC Capital Europe across the wider European market.
We offer a range of finance solutions that help manufacturers sell equipment to their distribution network for stock or demonstration purposes, or for their own use, in the most cash-efficient way. We also offer finance solutions for end-user business customers. The main asset types that we finance fall within the construction and material handling sectors, but we also provide funding for a range of healthcare technology, manufacturing and industrial equipment, sustainable and green solutions and heating/cooling systems for business users.
My role as European Marketing Manager is to raise awareness and promote our brands, products and services to attract new vendors, dealers and business customers, and also to work with our partners to help them promote finance solutions and finance offers as part of their customer proposition.
We’re a developing division of only 50 people, the majority of whom work out of the company’s head office in Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey UK, but we also have a team of 4 people based in the Netherlands, 3 in Finland and 2 in the Republic of Ireland, and we have transactional capability in Belgium. Our ambitious growth plans will see other countries follow soon.

Ten Minutes from Heathrow
Staines is about a 10-minute drive from London’s Heathrow airport and is about 17 miles west of Central London. It’s a small but busy market town dating back to Roman times and sits on the banks of the River Thames.
Outside of work I enjoy going on holiday to somewhere hot and sunny, but also enjoy spending time at home and cooking for my family. I don’t play any sports, but I enjoy watching tennis—especially Wimbledon when it’s on—and as a family we follow the F1 motor racing.
