MTEC Pune, the place where I work

My journey with MMCI (MMC Hardmetal India Pvt. Ltd.) began more than 6,100 days ago. I joined MMCI on September 1, 2006, in the sales department of Western India. During this period, I worked in Domestic Sales & Exports (2006–2016), MTB & Projects (2016–2018) and am presently working at MTEC Pune. At present, I am working as a Trainer & ISO Coordinator for Team MMCI. I also support exhibitions, trade shows, the MMCI website, and the development of e-learning modules and MMCI mobile applications.

Mitsubishi Materials Technology & Education Centre (MTEC Pune) was launched on March 19, 2020, and I am happy to say that I was one of the active members during commissioning of this facility. At MTEC Pune, we undertake the training and education of our employees, business partners and customers. We also arrange open houses and live demonstrations of our high performance cutting tools for customers from various industry segments.

Pune is a sprawling city in the state of Maharashtra, which is located in the western part of India. Pune City is considered the cultural and educational capital of Maharashtra, and is an important city in terms of economic and industrial growth. Pune is a well-known manufacturing and industrial center for India, with many growing information technology, engineering and automotive companies. It is also known for cultural activities like classical music, spirituality, theatre, sports, and literature. All the Indian festivals like Diwali, Navaratri, Holi, etc., are celebrated with the same excitement, but Pune is famous for its Ganesh Festival. It really is something you must experience once in your life.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a foodie and like trying new cuisines. I enjoy cooking during my free time, and also like to travel with my friends and colleagues. For me life is about happiness and joy, and this is reflected in the name of my cute son, Harshvardhan (meaning “one who increases joy”).
