Start of EV Smart Charging Service Demonstration Project with AAKEL Technologies in October 2022

Among its efforts to promote a carbon neutral society, the Japanese government is driving the use of electric vehicles, the introduction of which has led to the need to provide charging facilities and the ability to confirm contracted power and charging session times. Mitsubishi Auto Leasing Corporation (MAL) is currently actively engaged in the leasing of eco-friendly vehicles, EVs included, and in the provision of sophisticated mobility solutions. AAKEL has developed a system that allows optimum control of multi-station, multi-vehicle EV charging that takes into account vehicle operation schedules. In their joint demonstration project, the two companies are building a framework which allows the automatic management of charging session times and voltage that matches vehicle SoS (state of charge) and contracted power.
