Mitsubishi Precision was established in 1962 as a company for the manufacture of flight simulators and navigation equipment. Now, in addition to flight simulators, the company also supplies driver, conductor and other staff training simulators for railway operators. The company, to date, has delivered more than 400 simulators of various types to local, metro and high-speed bullet train operators in Japan, thereby contributing to the safe and assured operation of those lines. In recent years, the company has started to expand its activities in overseas markets, making deliveries to railway operators and training institutes in Qatar and the Philippines. In 2022, the company was awarded with a contract from India for its high-speed train simulators. Mitsubishi Precision will continue to expand its business overseas with railway operators using the simulation technologies it has developed over the years, ones produced with Japan’s world-class quality.
