Taipei is the capital city of Taiwan.
It was founded in 1709, contains rich and solid connotations and has various styles after years of baptism. There are places for greening, conservation, leisure, social humanities and arts. Its historical monuments and colorful culture show the charm of Taipei. It is also a major city for Taiwan’s politics, culture, education, commercial and economic development, and diplomatic and friendly relations. Taipei is enthusiastic, warm, friendly, free, and peace, with healthy vitality, and its compatibility with internationalization and localization has demonstrated the rich spirit of multiculturalism.

Established in Taiwan in May 1988, Taiwan Kirin Engineering Co., Ltd. mainly served the canning production line project of the Zhongxing Brewery affiliated with Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation (original Taiwan Tobacco and Wine Monopoly Bureau). Later, in 1996, it was officially renamed Taiwan Kirin Co., Ltd., and is now the largest Kirin brand sales company outside Japan. In the early days of Taiwan's opening up of imported Japanese beer, it quickly won the No. 1 title among imported brands. Later, the 921 earthquake of 1999 caused a sluggish consumer market in Taiwan province, resulting in huge losses to the company and a bottoming out.
However, adhering to the principle of quality and honesty, it scrapped a large number of expired products in the following year 2000, which worsened the situation of losses caused by the earthquake. It then reorganized its structure and adjusted its strategy to start again. Fortunately, all losses were covered in 2006, and Taiwan Kirin was back on track. Since then, it has refreshed its turnover and profits for 18 consecutive years, and has gradually moved towards the No.1 position of import.
Taiwan Kirin is an amazing company, and every colleague of Taiwan Kirin is even more amazing. We have gone through painful experiences, and experiences drive us to grow and thrive. We learn lessons, implement every stipulated plan, work together, persist in achieving goals, strive to set new records, and continue to challenge.

I am very proud to join Taiwan Kirin and become a member of the Kirin Group after graduating from university. I first worked as an accountant. Then my boss thought that I was more suitable for corporate planning, and so I was very fortunate to have undertaken different jobs in various departments for the next 32 years. Looking back on my career spanning more than 30 years, I feel very lucky to have been assigned diverse and challenging tasks. No matter what position I hold, I adhere to the company's values and treat everything responsibly.I look forward to contributing to Kirin Beer’s journey towards becoming a century-old enterprise in Taiwan.

Even if I am busy at work, I will find a place to rest physically and mentally during my vacation. Songshan Cultural Park has various exhibition themes every month. Here you can not only appreciate the vibrant works of young creators, but also find various ways to relax your body and mind. It is my favorite park to stay in recent years. The predecessor of Songshan Cultural Park was the Songshan Tobacco Factory of the Monopoly Bureau of the Taiwan Governor-General's Office built in 1937.It was the first modern tobacco factory in Taiwan. It produced cigarettes and cigars and created considerable economic output value for Taiwan. Designated as the 99th municipal historic site in 2001, it retains the office buildings with Japanese Secession architectural style, the original tobacco factory with corridors of long span and high light transmission, warehouses 1 to 5, men's and women's bathhouses, Boiler room and other municipal historic sites. Transformed into the Songshan Cultural Park in 2011, it bears the responsibility for driving Taiwan's originality and creativity and strengthening the cultural soft power, becoming an original base that blends the old and the new, and a Dokodemo door for creators to harness international reputations.

Songshan Cultural Park covers an area of 6.6 hectares, with a total plant coverage of 2.41 hectares. There are more than 50 species of protected and inhabited birds, 125 species of ground-cover plants and 50 species of insects. With its rich biodiversity, it is an important ecological habitat in Taipei! With the operation of the Eslite Songyan 24-hour bookstore and the Taipei Dome, the Songshan Cultural Park site takes "historic sites", "ecology" and "humanities" as the important core of its sustainable development and management, and focuses on design, fashion, and sports for its development.
