My “Shokuba” (職場)– a journey of growth and gratitude.

I joined Mitsubishi Heavy Industries India Private Ltd. (MHII) in May 2018 as an assistant manager in business analysis following a career break of nearly 1.5 years due to pregnancy. Returning to work after such a personal milestone was both exciting and challenging. The balancing act was not easy, but thanks to MHII’s comfortable workplace environment and the understanding and support of my managers, I was able to not only focus on my professional responsibilities but also enjoy precious time with my family. That balance has been invaluable. Over the past seven years, I’ve been proud to grow within the organization. My journey has been deeply rewarding, both professionally and personally. The Mitsubishi Group’s “three-diamond” logo symbolizes quality and reliability and my experience here has reflected those very values. MHII has been a place of trust, growth, and purpose. It has been a strong foundation during one of the most transformative phases of my life. And as I look ahead, I do so with deep gratitude and a genuine sense of purpose.

About MHII

Since our establishment in 2005, we have been supporting the MHI Group’s entry into the Indian market and supporting the MHI business units. We are responsible for business activities for each product, formation of new projects, market research, collaboration with local manufacturers and partners, supplier surveys, and after-sales support services. Blending Japanese precision with Indian creativity, the company fosters a distinctive workplace culture where collaboration thrives. Our Japanese colleagues actively participate in Indian cultural celebrations such as Holi and Diwali, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm and deep respect for local traditions.

About Delhi, India’s capital and a vibrant metropolis with a rich history and diverse culture.

Its origins can be traced back to ancient times. Known as Indraprastha in the Mahabharata, it has witnessed empires rise and fall, from the Mughals to the British. Today, Delhi’s skyline is adorned with three incredible UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Lal Qila (Red Fort), Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. Delhi is also a foodie’s paradise, with everything from tantalizing street food to trendy cafes and award-winning restaurants serving global cuisine. What I like most about Delhi is its true cosmopolitan spirit and culinary richness.

About me

I am from West Bengal. I have an MBA in International Business. Alongside my career, I am a trained Indian Classical Vocalist with a passion for traveling the globe and spending quality time with my family. I find joy in savoring exquisite cuisine, immersing myself in detective suspense thrillers, and sharing the wonders of the Harry Potter series with my daughter. Both the tranquility of forests and the vastness of seas profoundly inspire me.
