The Koiwai Farm Foundation: Protecting the historical architecture of Koiwai Farm, a site of relevance to Mitsubishi's history

Co-founded by the second Mitsubishi president, Yanosuke Iwasaki, and owned by the third president, Hisaya Iwasaki, Koiwai Farm cultivated barren fields into the lush lands that they are today.

Aki, the birthplace of founder Yataro Iwasaki, preserves his achievements for future generations

The birthplace of the founder of Mitsubishi, Yataro Iwasaki, is the present-day Aki in Kochi Prefecture. Yataro's birth home is still preserved in Inokuchi, Aki, till this day.

The birth of a new cultural spot in Marunouchi: Relocating the Seikado Bunko Art Museum Exhibition Gallery

As one of Mitsubishi's 150th anniversary projects, the Seikado Bunko Art Museum Exhibition Gallery will be relocated in 2022 from Okamoto in Setagaya to the first floor of Meiji Seimei Kan, an Important Cultural Property located in Marunouchi, Tokyo.

National treasures at Mitsubishi historical sites, Seikado and Toyo Bunko: Launching Mitsubishi's Greatest Treasures Exhibition in celebration of 150 years

Update: This exhibition has been postponed to next year and rescheduled to be held from June 30 to September 12, 2021.

Mitsubishi will hold a special exhibition at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum in Marunouchi, Tokyo, featuring over 100 precious works comprised of exhibits from the Mitsubishi Economic Research Institute, and art collectibles and classical works that include 12 national treasures and 31 Important Cultural Properties from the collection housed in Seikado and Toyo Bunko.
